Located about 8 miles from the Courtyard by Marriott® Pasadena Old Town hotel is the famed Santa Anita Race Track. Getting there is easy. From the hotel, take the Foothills Freeway (Interstate-210) east towards San Bernardino for about 5 miles. Exit at Baldwin Avenue to the south (right) and the track will be on your left.

Since 1934 this fabled Southern California track has been racing the horses and accepting pari-mutuel betting as a sport. Santa Anita Park opens annually on December 26, with daily racing continuing through late April. In addition, Santa Anita's fall meeting, presented by the Oak Tree Racing Association, takes to the track from early October to early November every year.
